About ABAology

Since 1998, I’ve worked with individuals with various abilities and have taught strategies of healthy learning and coping mechanisms throughout various platforms. Knowing everyone communicates through behavior. We assist in developing an effective intervention strategy in identifying the function of a behavior. Remembering that all behavior is communication.

All About Me

Committed to Helping People

I have worked closely with individuals having various abilities and helping guide them to independence along with successful integration in their communities. I’ve helped individuals face life’s challenges by helping them understand their own emotional patterns and direct them towards learning the correct responses to their environment. With the right tools, I guarantee a better outlook on any issues that life brings your way. I have been working in the field of developmental disabilities for over 30 years serving children, teens and adults in Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavior Support services. I have experience in assisting in supported employment, serving individuals in discovery, community and employment services. I am state certified as a Certified Behavior Technician facilitating applied behavior application to pre-K through high school within Washington state. I am committed to teaching that all behavior is a form of communication and being passionate and knowing everyone has a story to tell. I am an advocate 24/7 for individuals to have the opportunity to express their story and to be heard. My approach is knowing that we’re all learners and we’re all teachers. No matter how much work has been done before, there is opportunity for everyone to continue learning and growing, especially as the work of diversity, equity, and inclusion. In my spare time, I love music, reading, learning something new, spending time with my family and volunteering with Project Semicolon, a non-profit in advocating for individuals seeking mental health support.
